Anna is Head of Product for Standard of Care at Beyond the Screen and is excited to help build an ecosystem of accountability for social platforms. Previously, Anna worked in advertising technology and was most recently a Product Manager at Microsoft. Anna was raised in upstate New York and attended Barnard College where she majored in urban studies with a concentration in statistics.

Bryson is the Co-Founder of Beyond The Screen and Chief of Staff to Frances Haugen. Bryson previously served as the Chief of Staff for the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic (MAPS).

After attending high school in Germany, Bryson attended New College of Florida, where he studied biology and environmental studies and worked in Panama with the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute studying two- and three-toed sloths. Following a Fulbright year at the University of Ulm, he joined the Max Planck Institute for his doctoral and postdoctoral studies focusing on ecology and neurophysiology of sleep, as well as managing a low Earth orbit tracking system based on the International Space Station.

Alongside his research, Bryson has worked extensively in natural history filmmaking, hosting, producing, and managing films for Netflix, National Geographic, BBC, NHK Japan, CBC, Vice, ZDF, and others in locations around the globe. Bryson also worked internationally as a special projects manager for various family offices and firms.

Frances Haugen is an advocate for free speech, accountability & transparency in social media. Born in Iowa City, Iowa, Frances holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Olin College and a MBA from Harvard University. She is a specialist in algorithmic product management, having worked on ranking algorithms at Google, Pinterest, Yelp and Facebook. In 2019, she was recruited to Facebook to be the lead Product Manager on the Civic Misinformation team, which dealt with issues related to democracy and misinformation, and later also worked on counter-espionage. During her time at Facebook, Frances became increasingly alarmed by the choices the company makes prioritizing their own profits over public safety and putting people's lives at risk. Frances made the decision to blow the whistle on Facebook.

Frances filed a series of complaints with the US Federal Government relating to Facebook (now named ‘Meta’) claiming that the company has been misleading the public and investors on how it handles issues such as climate change, misinformation, and hate speech, and the impact of its services on the mental health of children and young adults.

Joaquin is the Executive Assistant for Beyond the Screen. He graduated in 2020 from CEMA University with a bachelor's degree in International Affairs. Prior to joining Beyond the Screen, he worked for a number of Fortune 500 companies both in the US and remotely. A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Joaquin is a passionate soccer fan and a certified ski instructor.
